Sarah joined N Brown Group in April 2020 as CEO of retail, with the remit of elevating the fashion offer, driving growth through an engaging and exciting the customer whilst curating distinctive and relevant brands, designed to inspire those who the group seeks to serve, specifically within the three main investment brands within the group portfolio, Simply Be, J D Willliams and Jacamo. Welsh leads the retail division across all touchpoints and channels to deliver a consistent proposition for all the brands in the group, whose shared mission is to “Serve the Underserved”.
With almost 30 years retail and brand experience across the UK High Street, Sarah has worked across multiple formats including omnichannel, digital, wholesale and franchise. Sarah takes huge pleasure in creating clear, differentiated customer propositions and strives to build an environment which embraces learning and development opportunities for young people, currently serving as the N Brown ambassador for social mobility. Alongside this, she plays a valued role within the business’ ESG committee, ensuring that N Brown delivers the pledges it has made in terms of the wider environment.
